The ongoing threat of COVID-19 helped Tomorrow Health, a New York company focused on home healthcare, secure $25 million in funding to expand. The firm said it will use the additional capital to add staff and build out its technology infrastructure to connect homebound patients to healthcare.

Tomorrow Health streamlines the process of obtaining medical equipment and supplies by providing technology, logistics and personalized service to enhance coordination among payors, physicians and suppliers.

“One size does not fit all in healthcare or medical equipment. From walkers and rollators after a fall, to oxygen concentrators and respiratory supplies for COPD and ongoing recovery from COVID-19, it is essential that patients receive equipment tailored to their conditions with speed and reliability,” Vijay Kedar, co-founder and CEO of Tomorrow Health, said.

Since it launched last year, Tomorrow Health has partnered with more than 125 health plans and health systems as patient demand for home-based care has increased due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
